Such a fun filled morning in the JK classroom. We started our morning with our favourite "go noodle" dance-a-long videos, built towers out of blocks, played our abcmouse.com learning app, and practiced our new interactive morning circle routine.

We had a fun filled field trip at Springridge Farms!! We enjoyed our first ride on the "Big School Bus", went on a hayride, learned about different types of pumpkins, ran in the hay, went through a spooky house, corn maze and finally we got to pick our very own pumpkins! We even got to pick a pumpkin to bring back to our classroom! We spent most of the afternoon decorating our pumpkins, learning what pumpkins need to grow and completing a 5 senses activity with our new pumpkin named "Bumpy".
After learning about the four seasons and reading a book called "Fall Leaves" we collected leaves on the GAA playground and worked on our fine motor skills by creating Leaf friends!
It was a fun-filled day at GAA! On Friday we participated in a house huddle activity, made caterpillar hats with our grade 4 reading buddies and picked a special surprise from the surprise box!! Happy Friday everyone :)

There's lot's of learning happening in these photos. Letter formation with playdoh, exploring car tracks with a magnifying glass, practing our fine motors skills by cutting straws into small pieces and identifying colors with bingo dabbers.
On Friday's we identify sight words and read books with our grade 4 reading buddies :).

Every morning we gather for morning circle and then practice writing our names. Today we wrote our names on our new paw patrol mats!
Today we used teddy bear counters and interactive Ipad programs to practice matching shapes, sizes and colors.
A fun day of adventures at GAA! We practiced letter recognition, coloring, proper pencil grip and had computer time at the MAC!
