Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Blanken and I am the Junior Kindergarten teacher at Glenn Arbour Academy. I completed my undergraduate degree at McMaster University and my Masters of Education at D’Youville College. This is my 6th year teaching and I love my job! Outside of the classroom, my husband and I have been blessed with two little miracles; Aiden is six and Jake is three. Our days our fun and full of adventure!! We love travelling and making memories with our little munchkins! When I am not busy being a mom, I have a passion for the arts, volunteer work and coordinating fun activities!
This will be an exciting year filled with lots of new friends, adventures and learning. My goal is to encourage your child to be the best person they can be and support them in every way. I promise to do my best to help them learn and grow both inside the classroom and outside the classroom. Your child has wonderful gifts, strengths, and talents and I can’t wait to learn all about them.
